As you know, we have been under unreasonable scrutiny for most of the last decade by the Liberal Government of Canada. This government has unfairly, unjustly, and irrationally prohibited a massive number of commonly used and legally owned firearms, in direct contradiction to facts, statistics, and informed policy-making that would actually improve public safety. Trained, licensed, lawful, safe and responsible firearm owners who are vetted everyday by the RCMP are being treated like children, while illegal violent gun crime continues to grow out of control in the streets. No government should have the ability to take away your property, property that they don’t understand and know nothing about, just because it scares them after they saw a bad guy in a movie using something that vaguely resembles it.
